Your data

Delete your data

You can ask us to delete your account and any personal data an ALMA Studios app holds about you. This page applies to every app published by ALMA Studios on Google Play. Here is how, and what happens next.

Delete in the app

Apps with accounts let you delete your account from inside the app, usually under Settings > Account > Delete account. This deletes your account and the data stored on our servers for that app.

Request deletion by email

If you no longer have the app, or it has no delete option:

  1. Email support@alma-studios.app with the subject line Delete my data.
  2. Send it from the email address linked to your account, or tell us which sign-in you used.
  3. Name the app (or apps) the request is for.

Email a deletion request

Parents and guardians

You can ask us to delete your child’s data at any time. Use the same email steps, tell us the app and the details your child used, and say that you are their parent or guardian. We may ask a simple question to confirm the request comes from you.

What happens next

  • We confirm your request within 7 days.
  • Your account and personal data are deleted within 30 days of the request, including from backups.
  • We email you once it is done.

What is deleted

Your account, profile details, and any content stored on our servers for that app, such as synced notes or settings. Data held by third-party services on our behalf, such as crash reports, is deleted or anonymised at the same time.

What we may keep

Purchase records, kept for as long as tax law requires, and anonymous usage statistics that cannot identify you. If we are legally required to retain something else, we will tell you what and why.

Data on your device

Uninstalling an app removes the data stored on your device, but on its own it does not delete server-side data or your account. For that, use the in-app option or send the request above.
