Terms of Use

These terms cover your use of ALMA Studios apps and the website alma-studios.app. By installing an app or using the site, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use our apps.

In short

• Our apps are licensed to you for personal use.
• Anyone can use most of our apps. Under 18? Use them with a parent’s or guardian’s permission.
• Apps marked 18+ on Google Play are for adults only.
• What you create stays yours.
• Purchases and refunds go through Google Play.

Who can use our apps

Unless an app’s Google Play listing says otherwise, our apps are for everyone: they are made for adults and are suitable for children too.

• If you are under 18, you need permission from a parent or guardian to use our apps, create an account or make a purchase.
• Parents and guardians are responsible for how their children use our apps, including any purchases. You can supervise apps and approve purchases with Google Family Link.
• Apps marked 18+ on Google Play are for adults only. You must be 18 or over to use them.

Licence

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use our apps on devices you own or control, in line with the Google Play Terms of Service. The apps are licensed to you, not sold.

Accounts

Some apps let you create an account. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details safe and for what happens under your account. A child’s account must be set up or approved by a parent or guardian. You can delete your account and data at any time; see Delete your data.

Acceptable use

Please do not:

• Copy, modify, reverse-engineer or redistribute the apps or their code.
• Use the apps to break the law or harm others, especially children.
• Interfere with the apps’ servers or security, or try to access data that is not yours.
• Remove or hide any ALMA Studios notices or branding.

Your content

Anything you create in our apps stays yours. Where an app syncs or backs up your content, you give us permission to store and process it only to provide that feature.

Purchases

In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Google Play. Prices, renewals and refunds follow Google Play’s policies, which you can manage in your Google account. Parents can require approval for every purchase with Google Family Link. If something you paid for does not work, email us and we will put it right.

Third-party services

Our apps may rely on third-party services such as Google Play Services. Their terms apply to their services. We are not responsible for third-party content or services.

Updates and availability

We may update, change or discontinue an app or feature at any time. We will give notice of anything that affects your data.

No warranty

Our apps and site are provided “as is”. We work hard to make them reliable, but we cannot promise they will always be error-free or available.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, ALMA Studios is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from your use of our apps or site. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law.

Termination

We may suspend or end your access to an app if you break these terms. You can stop using our apps at any time by uninstalling them.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Disputes will be handled by the courts of Jordan, without prejudice to consumer rights you may have where you live.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version. For changes that matter, we will tell you inside the app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.

Languages

These terms are available in English and Arabic. If the two versions differ, the Arabic version prevails for users in Jordan.
